As in other agricultural or agro-pastoral communities, daily life in Onifai was marked by the rhythms of the agrarian year ...
The municipality of Onifai belongs to lands called Baronie, where the mountain joins the sea to encircle the coastline comprised between Budoni and Orosei. This territory borders those of Galtellì, Irgoli, Orosei and Siniscola. Laying at the foot of a basaltic plateau on the left bank of river Cedrino, the village is renowned for its food and wine products - in particular, an excellent Vernaccia and delicious sheep/goat cheese - but also thanks to the proverbial hospitality of its people.
